Technology in the hands of great medical staff makes a difference. The Center uses Genius™ 3D Mammography™ technology that provides earlier and more accurate breast cancer detection. In fact, it detects 20-65% more invasive breast cancers compared to 2D alone and reduces callbacks by up to 40% compared to 2D alone.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Center was also recently able to purchase new, state-of-the-art ultrasound technology to help our doctors scan, diagnose, and treat a wide range of patients across a broad spectrum of conditions. This equipment creates more time for direct patient care, counseling, and interaction.
