What is Extra Life?
Extra Life is a gamer focused fundraising program of Children's Miracle
Network Hospitals with over 50,000 annual participants.
How does it work?
Gamers pledge to play games in support of their local CMN Hospital, and
each gamer collects donations from friends, family, colleagues, etc..
Think of Extra Life like a walk-a-thon, but for gaming!
Where does the money go?
When you sign up for Extra Life, you choose the CMN Hospital that will
benefit from your fundraising. Salinas Valley Health Medical Center is the
CMN Hospital for all of Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties.
100% of your fundraising comes directly back to our local program, helping
to provide medical equipment and services for children across the tri-county area.
When is Game Day?
This year, the 14th annual Game Day will be held on November 5, 2022. Many
gamers choose to game for 24 hours on Game Day, but you can do your gaming
whenever it works best for YOU!
How do I sign up?
Visit
www.extra-life.org and register! Make sure to select Salinas Valley Health Medical Center as
your member hospital.
