About the provider

Bruce Kauman, DO, MPH, an internist and hospitalist, joined Salinas Valley Health in 2020. After growing up in New York City in a family of educators, he developed his own passion for teaching and deeply enjoys working with patients to help them better understand their health. Dr. Kaufman strives to help patients reach their personal health goals and to care for the patient as a whole.

He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree in 2015 from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University California, in Vallejo and completed his residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University. Dr. Kaufman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. During his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling and volunteering.
