SVMHS INFUSION CLINIC PROJECT: CEQA DOCUMENTS
As described by the Notice of Intent to Adopt the Negative Declaration,
in compliance with by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA),
the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS) has undertaken environmental
review of our proposed project, a 400-square-foot expansion of the Outpatient
Infusion Center, relocation of uses within other existing buildings with
parking deficits, and inclusion of additional parking from the “Blue
Lot”. A letter was sent out to our community neighbors and a notice
was posted at various community locations on Tuesday, July 31st.
Collectively, these actions require updating the Conditional Use Permit.
After a 20 day review and comment period, the Draft Negative Declaration
(link below) will be finalized to include responses to comments from the
public and any associated revisions triggered by its review. We plan to
ask the Board to approve the request to update the Conditional Use Permit
and ask the Salinas City Planning Commission to adopt it in September
with approval of the Conditional Use Permit Application.
