Mother/Infant Critical Care Regional Transport
Thanks to funding from Children’s Miracle Network, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Salinas Valley Memorial now uses a custom-designed, specially-equipped ambulance. The ambulance is used to carry newborns from the hospital where the infant was born to our Regional NICU. Pregnant women who are experiencing pre-term labor can be transported to our new high-risk obstetrics center the Perinatal Diagnostic Center (PDC).
