Community Services
Community Services are those services or programs that are provided on an outpatient basis or to the public. Sometimes, we go to a client's home; sometimes the public comes to us. In the case of the Gift Shop, we provide services for the patients, but the patient's families and friends are really whom we see the most. Here are some examples of our community services:
- Floral Service Create beautiful fresh floral arrangements for public areas throughout the hospital. Many floral volunteers also use their talent to create beautiful plant arrangements for the Gift Shop and Program committee.
- Lifeline Assist with the installation and servicing of LIFELINE monitoring equipment in the subscriber's home. In addition, clerical help is also needed for this service.
- Tele-Care Make friendly visitor call to clients on this service. Calls are made daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Gift Shop We have a 650-sq. ft. Gift Shop that has a wonderful variety of items for patients and their families. Our customers need your help to select and purchase the right gift.
