Frequently Asked Questions

VolunteersHow do I become a volunteer?
It's easy! You can complete an application online or call our office at 755-0772. When we receive your application, we'll call you for a placement interview and schedule your training at that time.

How often do I volunteer?
Adult volunteers (18+) can volunteer as little as once a month or on an on-call basis. Students (15+) in the Career Pathways Program are scheduled for a once-a-week commitment due to work experience agreements.

Can I get Community Service Credit?
Students needing short-term commitment (i.e. 15 hours credit per year) should apply to a different program. However, students interested in career training are encouraged to apply for our Career Pathways Program, which is a weekly year-long commitment.
