We share your goal - to deliver a healthy baby.
The majority of women have healthy pregnancies. However, it is advisable for women with high-risk pregnancies to monitor for potential problems or complications. As early as the 11th week of your pregnancy, you can instantly learn your baby's risk for Down syndrome and other abnormalities.
We offer special care for high-risk pregnancies by utilizing the newest technology. There are many tests and procedures to monitor the health of both mother and baby. Using advanced imaging techniques and sophisticated diagnostic modalities, we ensure your baby's health before he or she is even born. Physicians and expectant parents can gain a tremendous amount of information from the tests, many of which pose little or no risk to either the mother or baby.
Salinas Valley Memorial's Perinatal Diagnostic Center was the first and only such center in Monterey County specializing in high-risk pregnancies.
