The Sleep Study Process
Initial consult with a Sleep Specialist Physician
Your primary care physician can refer you to the Sleep Medicine Center or you may contact the Center yourself for an appointment with a Sleep Specialist Physician. At your initial consult the Sleep Specialist Physician will meet with you to address your specific concerns, offer suggestions for improving your sleep, and determine if a sleep study is needed.
The Sleep Study
If indicated, the Sleep Specialist Physician will schedule an overnight sleep study. Each study is customized to address the particular needs of each patient.
Post consult with a Sleep Specialist Physician
After the study has been completed and analyzed by the physician, you will be scheduled for a post consult to discuss the findings. Based on the results, the latest treatment modalities will be discussed and a full report will be sent to your primary care physician
Treatment
If treatment is indicated, the Sleep Medicine Center offers full-service support for prescribing the best equipment tailored to your specific needs and helping you maintain compliance for improved sleep and overall health.
