Billing & Insurance

Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Billing Department will bill your insurance.

• Any known deductible or co-payment is your responsibility.
• You will be asked to pay deductibles and estimated co-insurance prior to your hospital visit. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.
• If your insurance is a PPO or HMO, you will be responsible for any deductible, co-insurance and non-covered services.
• If you are uninsured, you will be required to pay for services prior to your hospital visit. If this is not possible, please contact a financial counselor before your hospital visit.

Please remember the following:

• You must bring your insurance card and all other insurance information required prior to the date of service.
• If your insurance requires authorizations for your service, you must obtain these prior to your service.
• All services provided are ultimately the patient's responsibility to pay. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have about your bill.
