Clinical Trials

Salinas Valley Memorial is currently participating in 12 research studies, which are referred to as either clinical trials or registries. A clinical trial evaluates devices that are investigational while registries evaluate devices that already have FDA approval. Several Cardiologists, and their patients, take part in a study, however, each trial is overseen by a single physician, called a Principal Investigator (PI). Here is a brief description of ongoing clinical trials at Salinas Valley Memorial listed by the PI.
