The 24th Annual Mark Velcoff, M.D. Asthma Day Camp
July 27- 31, 2009

Lincoln School, Salinas
The SVMHS Asthma Day Camp is for children who will benefit from a positive experience with outdoor physical activity, combined with practical education. The purpose of Asthma Day Camp is to help raise self-esteem and confidence. A physician and respiratory therapist will be at the camp.
The children learn about asthma, how to avoid "triggers", about medications, breathing and relaxation exercises, nutrition, when to call a Doctor and much more....
About the Camp:
- For children with asthma 6 to 12 years old
- $55.00 fee covers 5 days (scholarships available)
- Each camper receives a t-shirt and fanny pack
