American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Course
Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System is committed to offering community training on life-saving measures by providing American Heart Association (AHA) courses.
The Heartsaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) course trains general public rescuers to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course covers basic emergency resuscitation techniques, prevention, use of barrier devices and hands-on training with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This three (3) hour course uses video-based learning combined with supervised hands-on practice.
Participants who successfully complete all course requirements will be issued an AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED course completion card which is valid for two (2) years.
This course does not cover first-aid procedures. If you require a course on First Aid, please refer to the Heartsaver First Aid course offered separately.
COURSE FEES: CPR/AED: $60.00 per person. Optional First Aid: Additional $30.00 per person.
