Children's Miracle Network at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation accepts grant applications from individuals (parent/guardian) on behalf of a child and from other nonprofit, charitable organizations. We also accept applications from other healthcare providers for uncompensated pediatric care (for example, County Health Departments).
Applicants can submit a grant request for CMN funding at any time throughout the year.
External funding requests over $2,500 are considered twice annually (September and March). In order to be considered, a complete funding application must be received by the 15th of the month prior to each funding committee meeting.
External funding requests for $2,500 and under are considered as they are received.
Priority will be given to grant requests in the following order:
||Grant requests with a direct benefit to Children’s Healthcare, including equipment and medical/dental services for individual disadvantaged children and organizations directly addressing Children’s healthcare needs.
||Grant requests with a focus on Children’s wellness, including organizations focused on health education outreach, physical activity, special needs activities, emotional well-being, and healthy living.
||Grant requests with an indirect benefit to Children’s Healthcare or peripheral services for organizations benefitting children’s healthcare including but not limited to: Program Collateral (brochures, materials, media), Non- Equipment, and Event Sponsorships.

CMN Funding — Mission and Objectives
To provide for the allocation of money raised by the CMN program to meet the physical and mental healthcare needs of children (newborn-17 yr.) within the Healthcare District and the CMN designated market area (Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties). To work in cooperation with other healthcare providers, when applicable, in order to contribute to the wellness of our area’s children.
