Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice

Since 1951 the VNA has been delivering Home Healthcare services for people living throughout Monterey and San Benito Counties as well as the southern portions of both Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties.  Today, the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice continues its tradition as the premier provider of Home Healthcare and Hospice services.  It is a non-profit organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that serves without compensation. Over the years, the VNA has expanded its programs to meet the healthcare needs of the broader community.  VNA provides specialty areas including Cardiac Management, Diabetic Management, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Palliative Care and Wound Care.

VNA offers community immunization programs for flu and travel, Wellness @ Work logo a wellness program designed for the business community and Adult Day Service for those who are frail, dealing with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

A highly qualified, specially trained team of VNA hospice professionals and volunteers work together to meet the physiological, psychological, social, spiritual and economic needs of clients and families facing advanced illness and bereavement.
