AHA CPR/AED Awareness Week

2010 American Heart Association CPR/AED Awareness Week
FREE Heartsaver AED Anytime Classes

As Neighbors Who Care the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS) is committed to offering community training on life-saving measures by providing American Heart Association (AHA) courses. As part of the 2010 American Heart Association CPR/AED Awareness Week
SVMHS is offering FREE American Heart Association Heartsaver AED Anytime classes. These classes are open to all community members and their families.

The AHA Heartsaver AED Anytime Program presents the core skills needed to perform Adult and Child CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The course uses a "practice-while-watching" format with the aid of a 22-minute instructional DVD.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. No cards will be issued.

Family and Friends CPR Anytime Personal Learning Program kits will be raffled

When: June 1-5, 2010

Where: All Classes will be held at the SVMHS Education Center 611 Abbott St. Suite 201, Gabilan Rooms 1&2 (2nd floor)

Days and Times:
Classes start every hour on the hour and last approximately 30-minutes
Tuesday, June 1st 1500-2000
Wednesday, June 2nd 0800-1700
Thursday, June 3rd 1200-2000
Friday, June 4th 0800-1700
Sat June 5th 1000-1600

Registration: Call The SVMHS Dept of Education at (831) 757-4333 ext. 1744 to register.

Cost: Classes are FREE
