Take a tour of the Perinatal Diagnostic Center

Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System, in partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH) at Stanford, established Monterey County’s first and only Perinatal Diagnostic Center (PDC) in August 2006. The joint effort between Salinas Valley Memorial and LPCH means that women with high risk pregnancies will no longer have to travel outside of the area for care.

The PDC team provides Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation, advanced 2D/3D fetal ultrasound, and genetic counseling and testing including amniocentesis and CVS (chorionic villus sampling).
